About me

I am a UKCP accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 22 years' experience in a variety of mental health services including NHS and voluntary agencies, and in private practice.

I have extensive experience of working with adult clients from varied age groups and cultural contexts, both in brief and long-term psychotherapy. I offer therapy and supervision in English and Italian, both in-person and remotely.

After a Psychology  Degree, I trained in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the University of Leeds and obtained a Master's Degree. I qualified as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in 2007.  Since then I have undertaken extensive additional training including the Foundation Course in Systemic Therapy, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy DIT, Reflective Practice in Organisations and Counselling Supervision.

I have extensive experience of assessment and treatment in wide range of settings, in both statutory and voluntary sector organisations. In the past 22 years I have worked with clients from varied cultural contexts and age groups in both brief and long-term psychotherapy. I have supervision qualifications  and have been supervising colleagues and trainees for the past 15 years.

I aim to provide a professional, personalised and confidential service to clients who may be experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties.

"Man's main task in life is to give birth to himself, to become what he potentially is.

The most important product of his effort is his own personality"
